New Year Resolutions

Good Morning! Happy 2019! It’s been quite a while since I last posted an article in English on the blog. And one of my new year resolutions is to post one article in English every Monday moring on the blog in 2019 to share with you my weekly plannings and events!

Firstly, I’d like to invite you to attend a keynote speech “Libraries: motors for a social change and development” by Ms. Gloria Perez-Salmeron at the National Libray Wednesday afternoon, 2-4pm, January 9th. Ms. Gloria Perex-Salmeron is the incumbent President of International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). IFLA was established in 1927, and is now one of the most influential NGO in the world. The headquarters of IFLA are located in Hague, Netherland.

The last week of 2018, there arrived many new books at Taipei City Libray, Jing-Xin Branch. I borrowed one of the new arrivals, “Dynamic Aging: Simple Exercises for Whole-Body Mobility” by Katy Bowman, Joan Virginia Allen! I like the book instantly because it is printed in bigger size letters. Easy for senior citizens like me to read! The book is about the movement of the body, and how a goldener can turn back the clock! Indeed, our feet are our foundation! Regarless the age, we need to make good use of our precious feet! In stead of sitting in the wheel chair, why not clogging with a cane to enjoy dancing to the music, and to enjoy the golden life ahead of us?
