Arirang（아리랑）and Saranghe（사랑해）

Good Morning! At last, I started to learn Korean, it was beyond my new year’s resolutions. As I’m learning sining with a Korean priest, in order to read and sing two most popular Korean songs, Arirang（아리랑）and Saranghe（사랑해）, in Korean correctly, I took upon the journey of Korean language learning. And I found it not so difficult to learn Korean alphabets! I'm privileged to learn Korean vowels and consonants through three channels, Chinese, English, and Japanese. Being able to read Korean, I can expand my comfort zone to cover the entire Northeast Asia!

I saw a Chilean film “A Fantastic Woman” directed by Sebastián Lelio, the Best Foreing Language Film at the 2018 Academy Awards (Oscars). I was impressed by the protagonist Marina, a transgender woman who works as a waitress and moonlights as a nightclub singer, who bowled over by the death of her older boyfriend. Daniela Vega Hernández, a Chilean transgender actress and lyrical singer, was the leading actress. The DVD is available at Taipei City Library! It worths watching to understand the difficult and different life of transgender people! Who knows, maybe one of these days, I decide to re-open my Spanish language textbooks!
