Toastmaster Magazine Reading Gathering in 2011

I was very excited to invite golden ladies to bring the Toastmaster Magazine January issue to the Presidential Hall to sing the National Anthem and to celebrate the founding the Republic of China for 100 years on the New Year's Day.

January issue arrived in my mailbox today, January fifth, five days after the New Year's Day. We missed the chance to have a memorable photo taken to share with Toastmaster Magazine readers in the world.

I read the Toastmaster Magazine from cover to cover every month. I look forward to receiving it in time every month. Golden ladies have a monthly gathering to read the Toastmaster Magazine. It is my opinion that the each monthly issue should arrive at each reader's mailbox before the last week of the precious month.

In Japan, the monthly would appear on the bookshelves of every bookstore at least one month in advance to facilitate the readers to make plans for the coming month. I am hoping that Toastmasters International can take it into considerations to release the monthly timely. Take the January issue for example, many articles are about New Year's resolutions. Wouldn't it be more effective if the readers can receive the January issue before Christmas?

I went on line to search for the Toastmaster Magazine information on Toastmaster International website this afternoon, only to find the current issue was December 2010 Member Access Only. I am hoping that toastmasters members can read January 2011 on line timely.

Golden ladies Toastmaster Magazine gathering will be held this Saturday noon. How about we read three articles as follows, and set our goals in 2011?

1. Dream Big, Act Big in 2011 by Croix Sather, Page 5;
2. Creating Your Bucket List by Craig Harrison, Page 8;
3. Find Your Focus by Patricia Robinson, Page 12.
